2. Hosting and server log files
When you visit this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary data: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser and operating system. This serves the secure and stable operation of the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log files are deleted after 7 days at the latest. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
3. Guest list and event updates
When you sign up for the guest list, we process your first name, email address and selected city to send you information about our events. The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). After signing up you will receive a confirmation email (double opt-in). You can withdraw your consent at any time — via the unsubscribe link in every email or by contacting us. We use Klaviyo (Klaviyo, Inc., 125 Summer St, Boston, MA 02110, USA) as a processor to manage the guest list and send emails. Transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Your data is deleted as soon as you unsubscribe.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us, we store your details to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.
5. Fonts and libraries
This website uses the fonts “Bricolage Grotesque” and “Instrument Serif”. They are served locally from our own server. No data is transferred to Google or other third parties. To display the page, the React library is loaded from the content delivery network unpkg.com (Cloudflare, Inc.); your IP address is transmitted to this provider (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
6. Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies for analytics or advertising and do not use any tracking.
7. External links
Our site links to Instagram and to coffee-maxim.com. Data is only transferred when you click a link. The privacy policy of the respective provider then applies.
8. Photos and videos at events
Photos and videos are taken at our events to report on them (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you do not want to be pictured, please tell our team on site or write to us — we will remove footage on request.
9. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), and to withdraw consent with effect for the future. You can also lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, e.g. the Bavarian Data Protection Authority (BayLDA), Promenade 18, 91522 Ansbach, Germany.
